Give Money to the Library
What can I give the book lover in my life?
How can I memorialize a loved one or friend?
How can I support my library's book, periodical, and media collections?
You can celebrate a life, birthday, or other special holiday with a library Memorial. Give a gift of cash as an individual or group, fill out a donation form, and send your check and donation form to the library.
The donor form asks for your, your loved one, or your organization's
interests, so that we can find a book, audio book, magazine, or film that will meet a gap in our collection and also serve as a wonderful memorial.
When we receive the item(s), we will use a memorial book plaque with the information you have provided (pictured above). When they are processed and ready to check out, we will contact you so that you can be the first to check it out. If you give contact information for other interested parties in the "notes" section of the donor form, we will contact them also. (For example, we are often asked to contact a next of kin if money is given in memory of someone who is deceased.) Then we will send you a thank you that can be used for tax purposes.
